We’ve typically seen New Balance’s XC-72s in color but this makeover shows us a blacked out iteration. The silhouette as a whole is inspired by tech and concept cars of the ’70s which gives it the retro-futuristic aesthetic. The sole unit is the most daring part of the shoe with a high profile front quarter. It’s sporting a nylon mesh upper and a large “N” appears on the mid panel.
