Limited-Edition 2023 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet ‘America’ Is North American Exclusive

Porsche unveils the limited-edition 2023 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet “America”, continuing a decades-old tradition of bringing the North American market an exclusive open-top, enthusiast-focused sports car.

For the latest 911 generation, Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur used the Azure Blue 356 exterior color inspired by the 1953 356 America Roadster complemented with a Satin Black-finished windshield frame.

It sits on RS Spyder Design Wheels with accents of white, silver, and a Guards Red pinstripe. The doors have white decals and Guards Red accents printed with the “America” moniker. Its rear features decals of “911 Carrera” in white and “GTS” in Guards Red. Drivers are welcomed with unique illuminated door sill plates that honor the 70th anniversary of the 356 America Roadster and a heated GT Sport steering wheel.

Guards Red can be seen throughout the vehicle, from the wheels and doors to decals, and cross even in the two-tone stitching alongside Pebble Grey throughout the cabin and on seat belts accenting the black leather interiors. An optional extended interior package gives the steering wheel and the cross stitching on the inside edge of the wheels the same color. Guards Red will also fill the two-tone stitching to the shift boot, the gear pattern on the manual lever, the “911” stitching on the headrests, and the leather backrest release loops. Pebble Grey comes in with the two-tone stitching for the floor mats and Sport Seats Plus. Lastly, its vehicle key is colored Azure Blue 356 to match the car, paired with a leather key pouch with “America” embossment.

For the road, the new 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet “America” is exclusively available with a seven-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drive for maximum driving pleasure. It uses a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter boxer six-cylinder engine that churns out 473 HP and 420 lb-ft of torque.

The model is fitted with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) Sport, making its ride height 10mm lower. Sport Exhaust, and the Sport Chrono Package come standard, while rear-axle steering and Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) are available as add-ons.

The 2023 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet America arrives at US dealers in late 2022, with a  starting MSRP of $184,920 plus $1,450 for delivery, processing, and handling.
