Greubel Forsey has unveiled the Tourbillon 24 Secondes Architecture, an impeccably crafted timepiece that shows the brand’s ability to not only deliver a beautiful watch, but one that pushes the horological envelope through innovation.
Only 65 examples of the watch will be available from 2022 to 2025, priced at $500,000 each. The limited-edition timepiece features a titanium and sapphire crystal “convex conical frustum” case, making the movement visible from the top, side, and bottom areas.
The timepiece has a frosted main plate, contrasting the polished titanium bridges of the movement, which features a 24-second tourbillon inclined at 25° at the six o’clock position. It has a 90-hour power reserve, thanks to three series-coupled mainspring barrels.
Greubel Forsey has also designed one of its most practical Haute Horlogerie pieces, with the Tourbillon 24 Secondes Architecture being water-resistant up to 50 meters and paired with a rubber strap.
For 2022, only 11 of the Tourbillon 24 Secondes Architecture’s total run will be released. Stay tuned for more details.
