Patta Takes on the New Balance 990v3 with Textured Colorway

New Balance 990 have been through a number of design updates and more color options since it was released in 1982. On its third collaboration with the footwear manufacturer, Patta released an early look at its take on the popular shoe model.

Teased by Timothy Sabajo, Patta co-founder Edson Sabajo’s brother, the Patta x New Balance 990v3 is a texture and color-rich take on the classic sneaker.

The Dutch streetwear and sneaker boutique stamped its signature “P” at the back and in between the “Made in USA” and “New Balance” texts. The upper’s suede and mesh fixture’s colorway are dominated by a light shade of olive and complements the bright neon green trims and the predominantly gray finish of the tongue, speckled two-tone midsoles, and “N” logo. Aesthetics aside, the Patta x New Balance 990v3 will still feature New Balance’s premium upper construction and ENCAP midsole cushioning.

At the time of writing, a release date has not been revealed, but expect the footwear to be a hot item when it does go on sale.
