Trophy Room x Air Jordan 7 Brings on the Olympic Nostalgia

Marcus Jordan’s Trophy Room presents its take on the “Olympic” Air Jordan 7 with a reimagining of Michael Jordan’s USA-themed sneakers for the 1992 Barcelona Olympics.

Red and sail suede panels share the upper, with navy detailing on the tongue, laces, and inner bootie. The heel sports metallic gold hardware bearing the Trophy Room logo to represent the Dream Team’s dominant run to the gold medal, plus the colors of the Olympic rings are displayed on the heel pull-tab. The sides of the heels bear Michael Jordan’s signature.

Embroidered on the inside of the tongue is the phrase “New sheriff in town,” commemorating MJ’s quote to Larry Bird and Magic Johnson during team scrimmages. The insoles bear the date June 22, 1992, referencing MJ’s Sports Illustrated “How Sweet It Is” cover story.

The pairs come complete with extra laces, a clipboard, and special packaging marking the collaboration between the two brands.

The Trophy Room x Air Jordan 7 is set to release exclusively at Trophy Room for $225 in October later this year.
