JJJJound recently revealed an image of the very first collaborative project with Salomon. The snapshot shows what appears to be a take on the XT-Wings 2.
Originally released in 2011 as a high-performance trail runner, the XT-Wings 2 was redesigned with a more subtle profile and reintroduced as a lifestyle footwear style. Only a single image of the collaborative work has been shown to date, but it features a 3D open Mesh upper, SensiFit™ and EndoFit™ markings, co-branding on the heel counters, and the silhouette’s All Terrain Contagrip® outsole. The pair is shone in sail and bone base colors with bright blue accent detailing.
As of current writing, no release date or pricing information for the JJJJound x Salomon XT-Wings 2 has been revealed. But expect more details to arrive as the collab runner’s release approaches.
