Wales Bonner’s Fall/Winter 2023 Twilight Reverie collection, first revealed during Paris Fashion Week, is now available, just in time to prepare for the upcoming season. Heavily influenced by the idea of bringing an Afro-Atlantic spirit to an idea of European luxury, the collection proves to be relevant and wearable.
The Wales Bonner FW23 collection carries a largely relaxed fit in tailored, sportswear, and casual silhouettes. The color palette is rich in ivory, blues, chestnut, yellows, burgundy, sand, and reds. Accessories rounding out the collection feature a scarf, brooches, and necklaces.
Highlight pieces in the collection include an ivory André Jacket in a textured cotton viscose blend sporting horn buttons sourced in Madagascar, a V-neck Motif Jumper in ivory and navy with woven number motifs, and a Wales Bonner logo on the front, a chestnut brown and ivory Kola Track Top and Kola Track Pants with handmade crochet trim and striped ribs on the sleeves, collar, and hem, and the Wales Bonner & Lubaina Himid ‘Man in a Shirt Drawer’ Scarf, a collaborative piece created with the renowned British painter.
