A Kind of Guise recently released the third drop for its Fall/Winter 2023 ‘Huldufólk’ collection last September 21st. On the heels of that, the Munich brand published its ‘Huldufólk’ editorial campaign.
The first installment of AKOG’s ‘Huldufólk’ editorial journey explores the heart of Iceland, a country that seamlessly blends fire and ice in its breathtaking landscapes. Front and center are pieces from the A Kind of Guise FW23 ‘Huldufólk’ collection.
‘Huldufólk’ are the ‘hidden people’ or elves in Icelandic and Faroese folklore. They are supernatural beings that live in nature, hidden from sight. Though no elves were found, the editorial looks at the daily lives of Iceland’s creative minds and how music shapes the culture and essence of the land.
The editorial campaign spreads across several of Iceland’s scenic backdrops. We see pieces in the FW collection against scenic waterfalls, hot springs, volcanic craters, and more.
Layering is the name of the game for A Kind of Guise’s FW23 ‘Huldufólk’ collection, and the third drop centers on outerwear, cozy knitwear, cardigans, and warm accessories.
