Louis Vuitton Tambour Moon Flying Tourbillon Poinçon De Genève Sapphire Frank Gehry | A Crystal Clear Sapphire Timepiece

Louis Vuitton, the esteemed fashion house turned watchmaker, has introduced a groundbreaking timepiece in collaboration with world-renowned architect Frank Gehry. The Tambour Moon Flying Tourbillon Poinçon De Genève Sapphire Frank Gehry is a masterpiece that showcases the fusion of haute horology and architectural brilliance. Crafted with precision and care, this limited-edition watch is set to redefine luxury timekeeping.

Inspired by Gehry’s iconic architectural designs, including the Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris and the Louis Vuitton Maison Seoul, this timepiece represents a remarkable marriage of art and craftsmanship. Gehry’s distinctive aesthetic, characterized by fluid lines and bold forms, is echoed in every aspect of the watch’s design.

The collaboration between Louis Vuitton and Frank Gehry marks a significant moment in the world of high watchmaking. With over 250 hours dedicated to the manufacturing of the dial alone, this timepiece exemplifies the meticulous attention to detail that defines both Gehry’s architectural masterpieces and Louis Vuitton’s commitment to excellence.

The Tambour Moon Flying Tourbillon Poinçon De Genève Sapphire Frank Gehry boasts a 43.8mm sapphire case, lugs, and crown. The dial, meticulously crafted by hand, showcases Gehry’s signature asymmetric patterns, reminiscent of his architectural works. It also features a sapphire dial polished and mattified by hand, Frank Gehry’s signature engraved on the case back, sapphire hands outlined in HyCeram Luminex anti-reflection sapphire crystal, and water-resistant to 30 meters. It comes with a white taurillon leather strap affixed with a Rose gold folding buckle.

The extraordinary timepiece, meticulously crafted and assembled by master watchmakers, is powered by the Caliber LFTMM05.01 mechanical movement, developed and assembled by La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton. Certified with the prestigious Poinçon de Genève seal, it features a skeleton flying tourbillon, a monogram flower tourbillon cage, ‘Poinçon de Genève’ certification, visible on the central bridge, 160 components, 21,600 vibrations per hour, 17 jewels, and 80 hours of power reserve.
