H. Moser & Cie. continues to redefine luxury watchmaking with its latest revelation, the H. Moser & Cie. Streamliner Skeleton Tourbillon. Unveiled at Watches & Wonders Geneva 2024, the Streamliner Tourbillon Skeleton marks H. Moser & Cie.’s second foray into the realm of skeleton watches, following the success of the Pioneer Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton introduced in 2022. Building on the brand’s iconic Streamliner collection, this new release shows Moser’s commitment to pushing boundaries and setting new standards in horology.
Drawing inspiration from previous achievements, such as the Streamliner Tourbillon Vantablack and the Pioneer Cylindrical Tourbillon, Moser merges disparate elements into a cohesive masterpiece. The result is a timepiece that seamlessly integrates innovative design with impeccable craftsmanship.
The Streamliner Skeleton Tourbillon boasts a 40mm stainless steel case characterized by its lugless, cushion-shaped design. The absence of traditional lugs enhances its sleek profile, while a brushed finish adds a layering effect to the case. One of the defining features of this timepiece is its fully skeletonized dial, which offers a mesmerizing view of the intricate movement within. The openworked dial seamlessly merges with the case and bracelet design and features red gold-plated indices, red gold-plated hour and minute hands with Globolight inserts, screwed sapphire caseback, screw-down crown, and a 120-meter water-resistance. It comes with an integrated bracelet in stainless steel with a folding clasp with three blades.
At the heart of the Streamliner Skeleton Tourbillon beats the HMC 814 self-winding caliber, which operates at 21,600 vibrations per hour. Derived from the HMC 804, this three-dimensional movement features a one-minute flying tourbillon with a patented double hairspring, an automatic bidirectional pawl winding system, an oscillating weight in 18k red gold, and a 72-hour power reserve.
The H. Moser & Cie. Streamliner Skeleton Tourbillon is available as a permanent member of the collection and retails for $86,900. For more information, please visit the official H. Moser & Cie. website.
