The upcoming biennial TimeForArt auction will include a range of distinct timepieces. Ressence and British visual artist Shantell Martin co-created the one-of-a-kind Type 1 Squared Timepiece, which will join the lineup.
Martin transformed the timepiece into a wearable piece of art, fusing visual storytelling with mechanical ingenuity. This was done using the TYPE 1 Squared watch’s white dial as a canvas and hand-drawing various designs onto it using a black fine liner.
The unique timepiece maintains the usual specs of the TYPE 1 Squared and is powered by the brand’s patented ROCS 1.3 Orbital Convex System. It will be auctioned at TimeForArt 2024 on December 7th. For more details, visit the brand’s website.
