Baracuta and Barbour are back with a second Fall/Winter collection a year after their first collaboration. This new drop coincides with Barbour’s 100th anniversary and is inspired by the duo’s shared Northern English heritage.
The collection spotlights two classics: Baracuta’s G9 Harrington and Barbour’s Bedale jacket. The G9, a staple since the 1960s, is now elevated with Barbour’s classic waxed material on the outer shell. Meanwhile, the Bedake jacket incorporates Baracuta’s distinct dog-ear collar and an oversized silhouette, giving the riders’ favorite a fresh look.
The collection introduces a long-line Parka with a toggle waist and large hood, resembling styles favored by mods and Brit-pop artists. Cable knits and shirts complement the outerwear garments, which incorporate a mash-up of the two brands’ iconic tartan prints. The collection is rounded off with trapper and bucket hats.
The entire collection is not just fashion but reflects the spirit of British heritage. According to a spokesperson from Baracuta, ‘When you wear a Baracuta x Barbour garment, you’re not just wearing clothes; you’re carrying the message of pure unparalleled Britishness.’
