Serica’s Parade Reference 1174 Embodies Timeless Elegance

Serica is taking its brand in a new direction with its latest timepiece, the 1174 ‘PARADE.’ The new model features a timeless, elegant design that deviates from the brand’s previous watches, emphasizing rugged durability.

The 1174 ‘PARADE’ combines minimalist sophistication with excellent performance. Its unique ‘Stadium’ shape stands out, featuring an ellipse with straight lines. This mathematical stadium form has existed for millennia but has never been utilized in watchmaking, showcasing the brand’s commitment to innovation.

The dial features a harmonious combination of a sunburst finish and a unique radial guilloché pattern of 48 S-curves. The gold and steel tones evoke the timeless beauty of patinated gold, while the twelve polished half-sphere appliques provide immediate readability while maintaining the purity of the design. The hour and minute hands, featuring stainless steel with black-polished finishes and a curved design, also add to the watch’s elegance.

Behind the Parade’s refined exterior lies a robust mechanical, self-winding movement that is water-resistant to 100 meters. This durability is achieved through an innovative ‘sandwich’ case that enhances the compression of the O-rings to increase their water resistance.

The watch’s signature ardillon buckle, which echoes the brushed and polished finishes of the ‘Stadium’ bezel, elevates it even further. Only 250 pieces of the Parade will be produced, and it will be released in April 2025. Each example is priced at 1490,00€. For more details, visit Serica’s website.
