Richard Mille makes a bold statement with the launch of its limited edition RM 07-02 collection, featuring four dazzling automatic sapphire crystal timepieces.
The collection introduces two shades of green, a fuchsia pink, and an all-new lilac sapphire color. Each piece presents a unique take on gem-set dials and celebrates Richard Mille’s mastery of elegant watchmaking, with each case requiring 1000 hours of machining. The creation of the new lilac shade demanded numerous trials due to its heightened sensitivity to heat and the intricacies of the growth process.
The stunning dial features symmetrical geometric patterns with strategically placed gemstones. Diamonds, blue sapphires, and yellow sapphires are paired with ornamental stones such as orange spessartite, white agate or opal, and various shades of chrysoprase, green tsavorite, and malachite.
The CRMA5 in-house skeletonized automatic movement is the heart of the watch. This caliber displays hours and minutes and offers a power reserve of approximately 50 hours. Depending on the version, the movement’s baseplate and bridges are crafted in red or white gold.
