MB&F Celebrates 20 Years With Limited-Edition LM Perpetual Longhorn and LM Sequential Flyback Longhorn Timepieces

MB&F is commemorating its 20th anniversary by releasing two exceptional timepieces, the LM Perpetual Longhorn and the LM Sequential Flyback Longhorn. These timepieces revive the iconic Longhorn lug design. Apart from their elongated ‘long horns’ lugs, both versions stand out with their stainless steel cases, rhodium-plated base, glossy black lacquer subdials, and blued steel hands.

The LM Perpetual Longhorn comes in a 44mm stainless steel case composed of 69 components and 17.5mm thick, with water resistance up to 30 meters. The case retains the rectangular corrector pushers, a crown at 3 o’clock, sapphire crystals on its sides, and a mix of polished and brushed finishes found in other regular models.

Hours and minutes appear on the black lacquered subdial at 12 o’clock, while the day, month, and date are presented on three other black lacquered circle rings. At the dial’s center lies MB&F’s signature 14mm suspended balanced wheel under a V-shaped bridge.

Housed beneath the dial is the fully integrated perpetual calendar mechanism developed by Stephen McDonnell for MB&F. This impeccable movement comprises 581 parts, operates at 18,000 vibrations/hour, and offers 72 hours of power reserve. The design is complemented by a calf leather strap with a stainless steel folding buckle.

The second 20th-anniversary model, the LM Sequential Flyback, also incorporates subtle updates to distinguish it from the standard LM Sequential series. This extraordinary timepiece features a stainless steel case measuring 44mm in diameter and 18.2mm in thickness. Like its Perpetual counterpart, the case features elongated lugs.

The dial’s layout is clear despite its complexity. Hours and minutes are displayed at 6 o’clock. The left chronograph shows seconds at 9 o’clock and minutes at 11 o’clock, while the right chronograph displays seconds at 3 o’clock and minutes at 1 o’clock. The time subdial and subdial rings are black lacquered, and all hands are blued steel.

The dual chronograph flyback mechanism operates at 21,600 vibrations/hour frequency and provides a 72-hour power reserve. It also includes a Twinverter switch for multiple timing modes: independent, simultaneous, sequential, and cumulative.

Both models are highly exclusive, with MB&F producing only 20 examples for each. The LM Perpetual Longhorn is priced at CHF 168,000 (excluding VAT), while the LM Sequential Flyback Longhorn is priced at CHF 168,000 (excluding VAT). For more details, visit the brand’s website.
