The brown suede version of New Balance’s 1906L, first seen in 2024, will officially debut this January. This new Rich Oak colorway stands out with its classic design among the brand’s expanding lineup of 1906L hybrid loafers.
The Rich Oak features a full, warm-toned brown suede upper, covering everything from the overlays to the tongue, unlike previous iterations incorporating mesh details. A synthetic heel counter and a black rubber sole with embossed lines contrast the suede material.
Familiar branding elements include the ‘N-ergy’ tag on the lateral midsoles, the 1906L graphic on the lateral uppers, and New Balance branding on the back and toe box.
In addition to the ‘Rich Oak,’ a black suede version has also been teased, hinting that the brand will likely release more loafer options. The official release date has yet to be confirmed, stay tuned at the New Balance website.
