A. Lange & Söhne expands its Odysseus collection with the new Odysseus Honeygold timepiece, featuring the brand’s proprietary 18K Honeygold gold alloy.
The Odysseus Honeygold is the collection’s boldest colorway while retaining the refined elegance the brand is known for. Like the collection’s steel and titanium models, the Honeygold has a 40.5mm wide case with a sapphire display caseback and water resistance at 120 meters. The case features a combination of brushed, polished, and recessed matte finishes, which make the Honeygold material stand out.
A rich cocoa brown dial and subdial enhance the warm gold tones of the case, both incorporating a finely grained matte texture. A higher-impact fluted texture on the hour track and subdial scale is present rather than the azurage pattern in previous models, which makes a bolder visual statement. Other parts of the layout remain true to the Odysseus collection, including lumed alpha hands, a brushed outer chapter ring, and the signature day/big-date display.
Inside, A. Lange & Söhne L155.1 Datomatic automatic movement powers the timepiece. This movement operates at a 28,800 bph beat rate with a 50-hour power reserve. It features German silver bridges and plates, gold-inlaid engraved lettering, hand-polished anglage, and a skeletonized 950 platinum rotor. The hand-engraved wave-pattern filigree beneath the regulator enhances the design.
The watch is paired with a matching 18K Honeygold five-link bracelet, featuring individually finished links and a deployant clasp offering a 7mm micro-adjustment.
