Mercedes-Benz Classic has presented three of its iconic models at FuoriConcorso 2025. The 1990 Mercedes-Benz C 11 Group C racing car, the 1997 Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR racing sports car, and the exclusive production version of the CLK GTR Coupé were placed in the gardens of Villa del Grumello using a mobile crane on May 24 and 25.
FuoriConcorso, established in 2019, has quickly become one of the most prestigious events in the classics scene. The two racing cars presented have strong Italian connections: The 1990 Mercedes-Benz C 11 triumphed with a one-two victory in the 480-kilometre race in Monza, and the CLK GTR secured second place in the 1997 FIA GT race in Mugello. Both cars captured championship titles in their respective seasons, the 1990 Group C season and the 1997 FIA GT Championship.
The CLK GTR Coupé shown at the event is one of only 20 road-legal versions made in 1998, producing 450 kW (612 hp). It comes from the Nationales Automuseum, The Loh Collection.
