Girard-Perregaux presents the latest Laureato 42 mm, now featuring a grey Grand Feu enamel dial. The enamel is applied by hand over a sunray flinqué pattern and fired several times at high heat to create a smooth, lasting finish. It’s a complex process done in-house by the Sowind Group.
The dial is finished with rhodium-plated baton hands, GP logo, and indexes. A date aperture is present at 3 o’clock, which matches the dial color.
The case is made of stainless steel, featuring polished and brushed surfaces, and measures 42 mm in diameter and 10.68 mm in thickness. It’s fitted with an anti-reflective sapphire crystal on the front and a sapphire case-back. Water resistance is 100 metres. The bracelet is also stainless steel with the same alternating finishes.
Powering the watch is the GP01800 automatic movement. It drives the hours, minutes, central seconds, and date, with a power reserve of at least 54 hours. The movement features a pink gold oscillating weight, Côtes de Genève finishing, mirror-polished screws, beveled edges, circular graining on the main plate, and gilded engravings.
The Laureato 42 mm with Grand Feu enamel dial is now available via Girard-Perregaux retailers for USD 17,900.
