Japanese footwear artisans Hender Scheme are set to unveil a new exhibition in New York City during the highly esteemed and approaching Fashion Week. The brand’s focus for this display – dubbed RAW – will be a range of houseware items, including intricately handcrafted chairs, bowls, rugs and lighting. All of the specially curated new homeware collection can also be seen in Hender Scheme’s flagship store in Tokyo’s Ebisu district. Founder Rei Kashiwazaki will be present for an opening reception for the exhibition at 7PM on September 9 so fans may get a lucky chance to meet the creative designer.
