From Norwegian brand SWIMS come these looks at their Spring 2012 lineup. They’re known for reinventing the modern galosh and has a tremendous lineup in the works. The offerings feature penny loafers as well as laceup loafers, all made from highly, waterproof materials. They’re extremely wearable and are available in a wide range of colors.
Here we have looks from Gant Rugger’s Spring 2012 collection. The collection is definitely one of the more wearable offerings from S/S 2012 and we’re talking across the board from outerwear and shirting to trousers to accessories. The color palette’s vast as well with shades of blue, yellow and red akin their way into the mix.
Billy Reid delivers once again with some classic Southern flavor. The small, concentrated dosage this time around is well-designed and delivers on everything we’ll be needing once those warm months hit again. Included in the mix are tan linen pants, double-breasted bone-colored cotton suits, dazzling pale seersucker, ribbed shorts with saddle shoes, and a lot of chambray. (Photos via GQ)
One of our favorite shows from this season’s New York Fashion Week comes from General Idea. The looks were fabulous but we were really impressed with the overall presentation. The bright colors and amazing styles walked down the runway with Colette Magny’s “Melocoton” playing in the background blending the timeless appeal of the collection with that of the classic French singer. Here’s what Selectism had to say: “We like the orange and turquoise in the upcoming collection, but also the more toned down khaki and black and navy checker pieces. Look at the pieces individually and you will find some great every day outerwear and knitwear to accent your outfits.”
As New York Fashion Week has officially kicked off, one of the first presentations to take place (off the runway) is that of New York designer Steven Alan as he showcased his Spring/Summer 2012 collection for both men and women. The looks were amazing with a good mix of simple and wearable pieces from shorts to shirts and suiting.
We’d like to turn you all to Airedale, a company that has its roots in the outdoor and outerwear industry, giving their work a distinct focus on technical details, functionality and exceptional quality. The seams are flawless with no stray threads to be seen, further proving the product’s resilience. The shots highlight some of the pieces from the label’s Spring 2012 collection, with plenty of positive colors and designs for us to drool over.
We’re really excited to be able to present to you all some highlight pieces from Tovar, a brand that we came for the first time at this week’s PROJECT Show in Las Vegas. The Los Angeles-based label is launching in Spring 2012 and their product is really exceptional. There’s balanced mix of simplicity, functionality and wearability. The shirting fabrics are really soft and lightweight so they’re perfect for the warmer months while the outerwear pieces are so versatile in both form and color that they have no barrier when it comes to season.
Here we have a look at Soulland’s Spring 2012 lookbook, which features the Danish label’s entire line of offerings which range from outerwear and well-fitting shirts to footwear and eyewear. The woolen motorcycle jacket really stood out to us as did the floral-printed blazers.
Next week, Homecore Paris will be landing on American soil for the first time as they get set to invade (capsule) Vegas. We’ve got a few preview shots here but expect more detailed imagery once the product goes on display at (capsule). (via WATM)
We got a taste of what Vanishing Elephant will be offering up for Spring 2012 through some preview shots last week but Selectism‘s turned us to the entire lookbook for your viewing pleasure. We get a full-on look at the shirts we’ve been lusting over for days and lightweight knits in vibrant colorways.
