After watching the Oscars on Sunday, I’m really in the movie-watching mood. There are just some movies that never get old and they belong in every man’s movie collection. One of these movies happens to be Ronin starring Robert De Niro.
He stars as an American intelligence operative adrift in irrelevance since the end of the Cold War–much like a masterless samurai, a.k.a. “ronin.” With his services for sale, he joins a renegade, international team of fellow covert warriors with nothing but time on their hands. The movie’s a must-watch and now it’s coming to blu-ray. Need I say more?
