With this year’s Apple WWDC hours away, the rumors are most-definitely piling up. John Gruber of Daring Fireball is positive the next-gen iPhone will be named “iPhone 3GS”. “I expect Apple to announce updated iPhones with significantly faster processors, twice the RAM, and twice the storage. I expected prices to remain the same as the current lineup: $199/299 for 16/32 GB, respectively. The video camera is going to be a major selling point.” John’s also expecting an entry-level iPhone with a lower price of $99.

As excited as we are, we’ve learned to take all rumors with a grain of salt. If you want to see what else John thinks, go here.
