Louis Vuitton has launched its Foulards d’Artistes scarf collection in Tokyo with help from Olivier Zahm, editor-in-chief of French fashion magazine Purple. The scarves, designed by a group of international artists, made their retail debut at Dover Street Market Ginza this past Saturday with other LV stores getting the goods next month. Zahm also shot a series of photos of the scarves and brings more light to another photography exhibition he is doing at Tokyo’s Last Gallery, originally owned by the late Dune magazine founder and publisher Fumihiro Hayashi.
The Foulards d’Artistes collection is produced each season in collaboration with a specific artist, and for this edition New York-based Japanese creative Aiko was asked to create the new, graffiti-inspired prints. (via super)
