Milan Fashion Week kicked off and Stefano Pilati presented his work for Ermenegildo Zegna’s Fall/Winter 2014 collection. Zegna‘s latest offerings explore and validate the brand’s patrimonial, historical and technological identity. There’s a strong blend of formal with sportswear, something that’s we’ve been seeing more and more of over the last few seasons.
F/W ’14 delivers dark tones, fine wools, soft cashmere and precious vicuña as well as traditional British hunting covert fabrics. The layering at Zegna’s showcased layers of precious fabrics, defining a silhouette that seems identical yet performs in opposite ways according to construction.
