American IT corporation Hewlett-Packard collaborates with fashion insider Gilt Groupe and designer Michael Bastian to market a fashion-forward iOS-compatible smartwatch. Decidedly, HP tackles the technical details and internal mechanisms, while Bastian attempts to design exotic leather bands, bezels resembling a dashboard’s instrumentation and a watch face sporting both analog/digital elements. Though currently an unregistered or named product, the watch is rumored to contain hardware capable of syncing with an iOS or Android app to function on basic remote tasks. Expected to debut this fall, the smartwatch will be launched among products from Google’s Android Wear.
