Google has introduced Google Fit, an offering similar to Apple’s HealthKit but, of course, for Android. It uses existing sensors in Android devices to track your activities, whether it’s walking, running, biking or something else. The health report dishes this data out in a digestible interface and will be compatible with pre-existing fitness devices and apps like Nike+, Runtastic, Srava, Withings, and Runkeeper. Google Fit is available now for free on Google Play for devices running Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich and above.
