Tesla and CEO Elon Musk have announced the Roadster 3.0, a welcomed update to their Lotus-based two-door that came well before today’s highly successful Model S sedan. Details show the car getting an aerodynamics kit that improve the car’s drag by 15 percent, while new tires, wheel bearings, and edits to brake drag are said to decrease rolling resistance by 20 percent. Blend all this together and the car actually gets an increase in range of about 40 to 50 percent, theoretically breaking 400-mile mark. If you’re not a believer yet, the new Tesla Roadster 3.0 will be showcased during a non-stop drive from San Francisco to Los Angeles in early 2015.
