‘Art of the Race’, a book by world-renowned Formula One photographer Darren Heath, lets readers take a look at the sport through his artistic lens. The photographs in the book feature the on and off track heat between the two Mercedes drivers Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosenberg, and follow Hamilton’s journey towards his win in the 2014 season. The compilation includes some of Heath’s best work in the form of still images which capture split-second moments in the sport where that short amount of time can mean the difference between first and second position. The images are put together in the 256 page hardback, which is the first in a series of F1 photography published by Art of Publishing.
The Art of the Race captures the soul of Formula One racing and can be purchased from the Art of Publishing website.
