Brazilian novelist Paulo Coelho once said: “One day, you will wake up and there won’t be any more time to do the things you’ve always wanted. Do it now.” What are the things YOU have always wanted to do? For most of us swept up in the daily grind, one thing always pops to mind: Travel. We want to see the world. For most, traveling alone is scary, and it’s next-to-impossible to get our friends or relatives’ schedules (and budgets) to coincide for a trip together. It’s the problem many aspiring globetrotters face. Personally, I would never have caught the “traveling alone” bug until a friend of mine told me a simple truth about it: “If you keep waiting for your friends, you’ll never go anywhere.” Truer words have never been spoken.
