Yarn Studios’ Collection One Incorporates Utilitarian Styles
Yarn Studios, a new streetwear label based in Dusseldorf Germany presents its Collection One. This emerging brand is known for using their clothing to make social and cultural statements on topics ranging from politics to entertainment, with many pieces featuring witty comments such as “Trump Sucks”. This current collection is a bit more subdued consisting of a selection of simple yet well-made basics, including bomber jackets, t-shirts, and sweatshirts. The line draws from utilitarian and military influences, featuring dark earth tones that have recently been popular in the fashion world, in particular with Kanye West’s Yeezy Collection. Furthermore, many of the pieces feature the brand logo in a creative way, adding a more original feel to these monochromatic basics. The collection is available now on HBX.
