Target and Dwell Magazine have embark on a joint venture to create the “Modern by Dwell Magazine” collection which will feature 120 pieces of furniture, décor, tabletop and home accessories. Target discovered a growing demand for modern furniture from the customer base, so they enlisted the help of the design studio to satisfy consumer needs. Mark Tritton, an executive at Target explains that their goal behind the collaboration was to create “a line that captures modernism beautifully.” This joint venture also helps Dwell, who is trying to transform their organization into a lifestyle brand. The collection will be available at select Target stores and online shop beginning on December 27th and will range from $50-$400.
