nasa-benedict-redgrove-2016-1
Photographer Benedict Redgrove has gone inside Nasa’s headquarters to highlight some of the technology they’ve churned out in the past as well as some of the things they’re working on for the future. Highlights include the EMU Space Suit helmet that’s been coated in gold to reflect the light and heat from the sun. The full suit can support 8.5 hours of space walking and is made up of multiple layers. And then there’s Nasa’s Valkyrie Humanoid. It was designed to work in disaster zones and they’ve been given to US research labs for further development. Head on over to WIRED UK’s full read on what’s next for Nasa to read and see more.
