Leonardo DiCaprio has been known as a somewhat mystic figure within Hollywood. After finally cementing his on-screen legacy with an Oscar trophy, the actor used his acceptance speech as a platform to bring attention to global warming. Since then, DiCaprio has partnered with Fisher Stevens and National Geographic to create his long-awaited “Before the Flood” documentary. The film invites the audience to join DiCaprio on a 3-year journey as he explores the topic of climate change and ways to prevent disruption of life on our planet as we know it. “Before the Flood” is available in its entirety for free through National Geographic’s Youtube channel, which is included above. Also, for every use of the #BeforeTheFlood hashtag, 21st Century Fox and National Geographic will donate $1 to Pristine Seas and Wildlife Conservation Society.
