Tag Heuer x Porsche Marks 50 Years with Limited Edition Carrera Chronograph

The new limited-edition TAG Heuer Carrera x Porsche RS 2.7 is the latest co-branded release, paying tribute to the iconic Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7’s 50th anniversary with a chronograph that combines the familiar Carrera silhouette with two new colorways.

The 42mm TAG Heuer Carrera x Porsche RS 2.7’s watches are available in stainless steel or 18K 5N rose gold, featuring the Carrera line’s signature inward faceted lugs, narrow polished smooth bezel, and piston-style pushers.

The blue stainless steel model’s 9 o’clock case side has a blue lacquered accent stripe and the Carrera typeface from the Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7’s themes. TAG Heuer adds matching blue accents to the crown, 10 o’clock pusher, contrast ring, outer minutes scale, central seconds, and subdials. This edition comes in both a fabric Porsche strap and stainless steel bracelet

By contrast, the 18K 5N rose gold variant offers a subtle engraving of the stripe onto the case with the contrasting brushed finish inside the engraved segment and secured on with a red alligator strap with an 18K 5N gold pin buckle. This variant substitutes the blue accents with Porsche’s famous Guards Red hue.

Both pieces have sapphire display casebacks and water resistance of up to 100 meters. Powered by TAG Heuer’s Caliber Heuer 02 chronograph movement, the watches get the standard 80-hour power reserve paired with a custom winding rotor shaped like the Porsche’s three-spoke steering wheel.

There will be 500 pieces of the blue Carrera Chronograph available with a price tag of $7,750, while the red version comes in at $23,550 and is limited to 250 pieces. Both variants are available from the Tag Heuer website.
