The New Balance 1906R Protection Pack was first revealed late last year, and is now available exclusively at Concepts with a campaign photo series featuring women and the objects they collect through their work and their pursuits entitled ‘Women and their Collections.’
Spotlighting women at the top of their respective fields, Concepts gives them a platform for the items they collect while wearing the New Balance 1906R Protection Pack. As part of the series, Concepts interviewed three New York-based personalities, multi-discipline athlete Angie Chavez, spatial designer Christine Espinal, and archivist and curator Djali Brown-Cepeda.
The four pairs in the collection come in four colorways: Reflection/Black/Gold, Black/Silver/Metallic/Gold, Turtledove Black/Bone, and Castlerock/Harbor Gray/Silver Metallic. The white, beige, black, and gray-toned pairs sport the refreshed ‘Protection Pack’ aesthetic and keep its unique torn-up form factor with slashed suede overlays that allow the mesh underlays to peek through.
Each pair is constructed with ABZORB technology, N-ergy cushioning, and N’ logos with metallic borders on the midfoot, while the lower laces and heels sport rugged leather tags, New Balance lettering on the tongues, and N-LOCK lacing systems.
The New Balance 1906R Pack is available exclusively at Concepts Boston, New York City, and cncpts.com for $170 a pair.
