The North Face brings pastels to its retro preppy-inspired Purple Label Spring/Summer 2023 collection. Creative director and nanamica founder Eiichiro Homma’s aesthetic style in this joint venture seamlessly merges a utilitarian and uncluttered aesthetic.
The collection’s color palette brings in pastels along with neutral hues. Sky blue, sage green, and yellow come paired with gray, white, deep green, navy, and beige.
The North Face Purple Label continues the brand’s greener slant with the use of GORE-TEX, GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ materials, along with sustainable environmental elements. The collection features layerable pieces in the form of jackets, blazers, coats, sweats, knitwear, long-sleeved tees, shirts, and T-Shirts.
Key pieces include oversized chore jackets, fishing vests, beige mountain parkas, M65-inspired chinos, track-ready jersey sweaters with hidden compartments, blazers cut from technical cloth, and baggy fisherman layers with floral prints.
