Aries Opens First Store In London’s Soho Neighborhood

Aries, the London-based streetwear label founded by Sofia Prantera in 2014, just opened its first-ever bricks-and-mortar store in London’s Soho district after nine years of online-only existence. Designed in collaboration with Brinkworth and Wilson Brothers, the Soho store is meant to be a stage for Aries’ in-line collections as well as a space for curated concepts and art.

It sits in a 4,000 sqft space spread over two floors and will feature the brand’s collections, exclusive collaborations, and in-store installations with international partners.

British style and Italian craftsmanship come together to give the store a rugged stripped-back modernist interior. It features cement flooring, bespoke wooden cabinets and furniture, Italian leather Anfibio sofas, and a grand scaffold staircase. Marble detailing, modular fixtures, and leather accent pieces complete the interior design.

Paperboy’s first pop-up coffee shop outside of France will be a permanent fixture inside the Aries store and serves Paperboy’s signature sandwiches and coffee as well as Aries and East London’s Dark Arts Coffee.

Aries Soho is located at 31 Great Pulteney Street, London W1F 9NN, and is open from 11 am to 7 pm.
