Tokyo-based menswear brand Nonnative is set to drop its first collaborative project with Mizuno. The collaboration sees the Osaka-based label’s iconic Wave Mujin trail-ready shoes take on a new silhouette in an earth-toned colorway.
Designed for both outdoor and urban use, the silhouette is based on the Wave Mujin TL GTX but with updates that include a boot-like construction, elastic collars, and a blended khaki suede and knit upper. It is fitted with trail high-performance soles, GORE-TEX lining, heel pull tabs, pre-distressed suede panels, and a co-branded heel counter.
The Nonnative x Mizuno Wave Mujin TL Mid GTX will drop on April 15th at select MIZUNO stores in Japan and COVERCHORD and Roots To Branches’ online stores. The new pair comes in at around $200.
