Porsche 911 S/T | The Lightest of Its Generation, Manual Gearbox and GT3 RS Pedigree

Porsche is celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Porsche 911 with the release of the Porsche 911 S/T. The lightest 911 of the 992 generation will make its debut at Rennsport Reunion 7 from September 28th to October 1st.

The Porsche 911 S/T sports a lightweight construction at 3,056 lbs., making it the lightest model of the 992 generation, and was aimed towards agility and drivability. The car’s exterior design features a carbon fiber reinforced plastic hood, roof, front fenders, and doors, lightweight glass, a Gurney flap on the extending rear spoiler, 20” front and 21” rear lightweight center-locking magnesium wheels, 255/35 ZR 20 front tires, 315/30 ZR 21 rear tires.

Inside, the Porsche 911 S/T has CFRP full bucket seats, with a four-way-adjustable Sports Seat Plus available at no extra charge, leather trims, and premium headliners. The Chrono package’s instrument cluster and the clock come in a classic green Porsche color scheme finish.

Under the hood, the Porsche 911 S/T sports a naturally aspirated, 518-hp 4.0-liter boxer engine from the 911 GT3 RS with a close-ratio six-speed manual transmission. Other features include the Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB) system, lithium-ion starter battery, new lightweight clutch, a single-mass flywheel, standard lightweight Sport Exhaust system, and a double-wishbone front-axle design with a multi-link rear axle without rear-axle steering. The Porsche 911 S/T can go from 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds, with a top track speed of 186 mph.

The optional exclusive Heritage Design Package is also available for the Porsche 911 S/T. It comes with a new exterior Shore Blue Metallic paint job and Ceramica wheel rim color, classic-style Porsche crest detailing from the original 911, cloth seat centers in Classic Cognac with black pinstripes, two-tone semi-aniline leather trim in Black/Classic Cognac with extensive leather surrounds, perforated Dinamica roof lining, gold Porsche logo and 911 S/T model designation on the rear of the car, and other elements from Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur.

In addition, buyers of the Porsche 911 S/T will have the option to purchase a Porsche Chronograph 1 – 911 S/T watch. It features a titanium case powered by the caliber Porsche Design WERK 01.240 with COSC certification and flyback function, a unique watch plaque featuring the 911 S/T image, and the individual series limitation number. The Porsche Chronograph 1 – 911 S/T will be available from Porsche Centers and Porsche Design Stores for $13,500.

The new Porsche 911 S/T will have a limited production run of only 1,963 units and carries an MSRP of $290,000, excluding $1,650 for delivery, processing, and handling. Deliveries are expected to begin in Spring 2024. Please visit the Porsche website for more details.
