Extra Butter Mumbai Flagship Store Brings Its Retail Style to India

Extra Butter, the New York-based lifestyle streetwear brand and fashion boutique, opened its first international flagship store in Mumbai’s Lower Parel business hub earlier this month. Created in 2007 by brothers Ankur and Nick Amin, Extra Butter has become a globally recognized streetwear brand.

The new flagship store in Mumbai carries an eclectic blend of high-end streetwear fashion brands from brands like A Bathing Ape, Drôle De Monsieur, Dhruv Kapoor, and premium footwear from brands like Adidas, Asics, Birkenstock, Converse, and New Balance. The Extra Butter Mumbai store also offers its in-house graphic tees and streetwear staples with retro Bombay-inspired graphics.

Extra Butter Mumbai‘s carefully curated selection mirrors the brand’s unique storytelling style delivered in its own take on the experiential retail experience, all while paying homage to India’s customs and traditions.

The store design, replete with flowing lines and a clean display area, was designed by acclaimed Interior designer, Sarah Sham of Essajees Atelier. The store features minimalistic white-washed designs, poster art referencing Bollywood pop culture, and faux movie seats. The store also has a partnership with restaurateur Aditi Dugar’s TwentySeven Bakehouse and hosts a premium indoor-outdoor café space.

The Extra Butter Mumbai flagship store, located at Utopia City, Madhusudhan Road, Pandurang Budhkar Marg, Lower Parel, Mumbai, 400013, is open Monday through Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.  In the meantime, swipe through the detailed images of Extra Butter’s Mumbai store.
