Girard-Perregaux And Saint Laurent Collaborate Again For A Second Casquette Timepiece

Girard-Perregaux and Saint Laurent Rive Droite collaborated over a year ago to redesign a Casquette digital timepiece. Now, they’ve partnered up again and released the Casquette 2.0 Saint Laurent 02, a sequel to the Casquette.

Girard-Perregaux launched the Casquette 2.0 in 2022, which featured ceramic and titanium materials and possessed a brand-new movement. It was redesigned in 2023 and was released as the Casquette 2.0 Saint-Laurent when Girard-Perregaux partnered with Saint Laurent. Although the timepiece had a similar appearance and build, Saint Laurent’s creative director, Anthony Vaccarello, subtly refreshed its look.

The two brands again collaborated to release the new Casquette 2.0 Saint Laurent 02. The watch is now available in a silver-gray hue and has been redesigned further, making it sleeker and with a high-tech appearance that pays tribute to one of the three 1976 OG Casquette watches.

The Casquette 2.0 Saint Laurent 02 is made of titanium from case to bracelet, even though its coloration makes it look like stainless steel. It is powered by a GP3980-1474 quartz movement, which controls several features apart from its time-telling capabilities, such as day, date, month, year, chronograph, and second-time zone displays.

Limited to 200 examples, the Casquette 2.0 Saint Laurent 02 is priced at $7,500 USD. It is exclusively available through the Saint Laurent Rive Droite online store and Saint Laurent’s boutiques in Paris and LA.
