2024 Audi Q8 E-tron, Redesigned and Updated

The Audi e-tron SUV was first released in 2018. This year, the German auto manufacturer revealed the Audi Q8 e-tron, the Audi e-tron SUV model refreshed and renamed for 2024. The  Audi Q8 e-tron comes with two body styles to choose from—the standard Q8 e-tron and the fastback SQ8 e-tron Sportback.

The new 2024 Audi Q8 e-tron features a new “3D singleframe” grille and front bumper, electric grille shutters, redesigned lighting elements, a revised steering system, a revised stability control system, updated wheel designs, and new spoilers for all four wheels on the standard version and two in the rear on the Sportback. Both versions carry a larger 114 kWh battery pack that has a charging speed of 170 kW on a DC fast charger.

The badging and model designation for the Q8 E-Tron mark has also been updated with features that include an LED backlit glow on the top of the four rings logo, a new stark white model designation text on the black B-pillar, and the Audi Sport logo now accompanies the “Q8,” and “E-Tron” model designation in the lower rear bumper area.

The 2024 Q8 e-tron interior refresh will use sustainable and recycled materials. All the seat options feature contrast stitching with red stitching available as part of an Audi Sport package. Despite the changes, the 2024 model still features the same dual screen infotainment setup and a fully digital instrument cluster.

The Q8 e-tron sports two electric motors at the front and rear axle with a combined 355 HP and 414 lb-ft. of torque, and 402 HP and 490 lb-ft. of torque in Sport mode. The Sportback version sports three electric motors, can go from zero to 60 in 4.5 seconds, and maxes out to 496 HP and 718 lb-ft. of torque in Sport mode.

The Audi Q8 e-tron’s WLTP (Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicle Test) rates the regular Q8 e-tron at 362 miles while the Sportback is rated at 373 miles. The battery pack has a charging speed of 170 kW on a DC fast charger and under ideal conditions, can go from 10% up to 80% in 31 minutes.

Though pricing has not yet been announced, the refreshed 2024 Audi Q8 e-tron can be ordered starting mid-November, with deliveries expected to arrive by the end of April 2023.
