Joe Freshgoods explores travel and leisure as seen through Black experience in his latest capsule collaboration with Vault by Vans.
Presented in a lookbook set in the 1950s, the 10-piece footwear and apparel collaboration dubbed ‘Chocolate Valley Resort’ features winter workwear essentials in modern silhouettes, loud patterns, and period-inspired ‘Chocolate Valley Resort’ chain stitching. It includes two footwear styles in four colorways.
The Joe Freshgoods x Vault by Vans ‘Chocolate Valley Resort’ collection apparel features a ‘Buttercream’ Resort Puffer, a Chocolate Cardigan with mohair and coral jacquard stripes, a branded tote bag, coral and white striped balaclava, a white tee, and a pair of olive cargo pants.
The capsule collection’s footwear series includes Sk8-Hi Reissue Platform VLT LX in ‘Coral Almond’ and ‘Camel’ colorways, mirrors the cardigan, and features quilted side panels and suede overlays. The Slip-Hiker LX, on the other hand, comes in pink and green, as well as a white, cream, and gray colorway. It features a two-toned quilted nylon upper made to echo the puffer jacket aesthetic and branded hang tags on the lace toggles.
