TAG Heuer, renowned for its innovation and precision in watchmaking, has introduced a captivating array of new timepieces at this year’s Watches & Wonders event in Geneva. Among the highlights are updates to the iconic Carrera Collection, including the exclusive TAG Heuer Carrera Monaco Split-Seconds Chronograph and the TAG Heuer Carrera Skipper Gold. These releases celebrate the brand’s rich heritage while pushing the boundaries of design and functionality.
The Carrera Collection has long been revered for its timeless style and technical excellence, dating back to its inception in 1963. Inspired by the legendary Carrera Panamericana road race, each timepiece in this collection embodies TAG Heuer’s commitment to precision and performance.
One of the standout additions to the Carrera Collection is the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Glassbox with Panda Dial. Drawing inspiration from the iconic 1960s model, this timepiece features a distinctive panda-style chronograph dial, paying homage to the brand’s racing heritage. The 39mm stainless steel case features a sunray brushed silver dial, black flange with 60-sec/min scale, black ‘azurage’ chronograph counters, and rhodium-plated hour and minute hands with white Super-LumiNova. Powered by the caliber TH20-00 automatic movement, it offers exceptional accuracy and a generous 80-hour power reserve.
For those with a taste for luxury, the TAG Heuer Carrera Skipper Gold is a standout choice. Crafted from 18K 5N rose gold, this timepiece pays homage to the brand’s maritime heritage. Inspired by the original Skipper model created in 1967, it features a striking blue dial and regatta countdown chronograph function. Powered by the specialized Heuer 02 movement, it combines style with precision, making it the perfect companion for sailing enthusiasts.
Another highlight of the collection is the TAG Heuer Monaco Split-Seconds Chronograph, marking the 55th anniversary of this iconic model. Available in both red and blue editions, this timepiece showcases TAG Heuer’s dedication to innovation and design. Crafted from grade-5 titanium and sapphire, it is both visually stunning and lightweight. Powered by the TH81-00 mechanical split-seconds chronograph caliber, it offers hours, minutes, seconds, and rattrapante chronograph functions.
The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Glassbox with Panda Dial and the TAG Heuer Carrera Skipper Gold are now available for purchase, with prices starting at $6,500 and $21,000, respectively. The TAG Heuer Monaco Split-Seconds Chronograph will be released in June 2024, with prices starting at $138,000.
