Ferrari has revealed ‘Hypersail,’ a 100-foot flying monohull built for offshore ocean racing and technological experimentation. The yacht features a foil-equipped canting keel and two additional contact points for stable, high-speed flight.
Hypersail is Ferrari’s vision of sustainable performance at sea with technology transferred directly from its Hypercar racing division. It will operate entirely on renewable energy sources like wind, solar, and kinetic power. The project reflects Ferrari’s strengths in control systems and energy management and has already produced nine patents, with six more underway.
Developed with French naval architect Guillaume Verdier and led by veteran sailor Giovanni Soldini, the yacht is under construction in Italy, with sea trials expected in 2026. For more information, visit the brand’s website.
