Khan Academy is a not-for-profit organization offering free education. Their offices in Mountain View, California feature unlimited materials and resources to anyone in the world. They wanted their space to match their offering and enlisted the services of IA Interior Architects to achieve that goal. The request included that the new space be ‘bold and beige’ and not too feel too much like an office. The result is an open plan space with lots of lighting coming in from the windows and skylights.
