With Atelier & Repairs Collaboration, Gap Goes Vintage for 50th Anniversary

Gap and Atelier & Repairs have partnered on a limited-edition collection that pulls from the storied brand’s archives.

With Gap’s 50th anniversary in full effect, the storied brand’s partnered with retrofit and repair company Atelier & Repairs for a limited-edition release. The collection sees Atelier & Repairs founder Maurizio Donadi dig into the Gap archives to curate and customize vintage Gap pieces. The brand’s known to add impeccable detailing to existing pieces, from sweatshirts to shirts to outwear. Atelier & Repairs is doing that here with a strong emphasis on sustainability and reimagining what already exists and transforming iconic styles into unique, one-of-a-kind pieces. Not only does this partnership see Gap breathe new life into iconic pieces but it’s also helping to lengthen the traditional product life cycle.

The Gap x Atelier & Repairs collection is limited to almost 500 pieces revived, curated and customized vintage Gap denim, tops, jackets, tees & sweatshirts. Check out more visuals in the gallery above and look for the pieces in select Gap stores globally now. Stores carrying the goods are listed below.
