Bugatti has unveiled their latest Veyron, the Grand Sport Vitesse. The Vitesse — French for “speed” — the supercar is a combination of the best traits of the Grand Sport and Super Sport models. The automaker has taken the 1,200-horsepower version of the Veyron’s engine from the Super Sport and combined it with the open-top body-style of the Grand Sport. The end result is one of the most powerful roadster of all time.

Parmigiani Bugatti Super Sport Watch [Type 372]

Parmigiani Bugatti Super Sport Watch [Type 372]

A few years back, Parmigiani Fleurier teamed up with Bugatti to release the Type 370, a watch that looked like nothing before it. The Swiss watchmaker designed a truly unique watch with all the components and detail we’d expect from a high-end luxury brand. Their process and attention to detail are impeccable but the beauty of it all is the fact that they allow their passion for watchmaking fuel their work, something that most definitely shows in the final product.

This weekend, we were on hand to witness the official unveiling of the new Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport at The Quail in Carmel, CA, as well as the new watch to accompany the new fastest car in the world. Once again, Parmigiani went to work to craft a timepiece that’s worth the time that was dedicated to making it. Fourty of the Swiss brand’s finest went to work full-time for a year to design and create the Bugatti Super Sport.

Each one-off Veyron pays homage to Bugatti’s motor-racing history “which played a central role in popularising and ultimately establishing the myth which the brand continues to enjoy to this day.”
