Google’s dropped YouTube Kids, an app that’s got the little ones in your household as first priority. They’ll be able to do all the same fun stuff you can do from the main YouTube app but the design makes it even easier to find all their favorite videos. It features larger images, bold icons, and it’s fast and downright simple to navigate. There’s a voice search that’s built right into the app as well, just in case your kids can’t spell or type. The front page is more curated for kids, so they can browse channels and playlists in four categories: Shows, Music, Learning and Explore. And of course, you can still use the search option to dig deeper. The app’s also got a ton of parental controls, giving you the ability to set a timer, turn off search, and muting background music and effects. The YouTube Kids app is available now for free through the App Store as well as Google Play for Android.
